The Vermilion Public Library is pleased to welcome Bernice Borysiuk, our October Artist of the Month. Bernice brought in some oil paintings that she has worked on over the years that feature different wildlife and floral scenes. In her art she portrays realistic animals in natural settings to create mood and feeling.

Through her painting Keystone Icons Bernice hopes to encourage individuals to learn more about the history of the bison that currently live in the Elk Island National Park. Her artwork will be up on display in the library during the month of October.
