This will be our third year hosting the 'Buggin' Out Down by the River' event, but this year we’re Buggin Out down by the Trout Pond!
Learn more about the Vermilion area watershed and the critters who call it home, with outdoor activities and pond dipping!
A rain or shine activity, please dress for the weather!

- Town of Vermilion Eco Buffers – What are they and why did we plant them? Presentation by NSWA
- Vermilion Public Library – read a story
- Wetland Scavenger Hunt – ALUS Vermilion River
- Pond dipping – NSWA and ALUS Vermilion River
What to wear and bring:
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Water
- Sunscreen
- Appropriate footwear, no flip flops please
